Airplane dance above Rovinj

The sky above Rovinj roared to life this weekend in an exciting event, where planes carried out an intricate dance through obstacles and poles. This was the first time the Red Bull Air Race took place in Rovinj, but hopefully it will become a tradition.
The Blue Doors apartment is located a  to your left from the church, diagonally in the direction of the big pier.

This is what Rovinj is going to look like tonight with the fireworks! It's a tradition - once every year for the Rovinj Night there is a fireworks spectacle that really takes you breath away.

What are you waiting for?

The weather in Rovinj is gorgeous, ideal for cycling, running, long walks or a leisurely aperol on Helena's wine bar terrace. Aperol is a light cocktail, perfect for summer,   and for some bold young people,  today it was summer already and just perfect for a swim. And it looks it's going to stay like this for a while. New Season for Blue Doors

Spring is here, the weather is beautiful. Our first guests for the new season will be in Rovinj for Easter and we hope that they too will have clear sunny days.  The sea is not really warm enough for a swim yet, we still have to wait a little bit. In May though it will already be like the summer. If you want to have an early holiday, enjoy the Mediterranean coast in its full beauty, with the sun  and the sea, but without the crowds, this is what you should do: come to Rovinj in May, stay in out lovely Blue Doors apartment and have a holiday to remember. We'll tell you where to go for a great dinner, a nice bottle of wine in a charming tavern, for a exciting bike ride, an interesting day trip, wine tasting, cheese tasting ...
There's much going on in Rovinj too: in April there are two sailboat regattas and from 19th to 24th of June the entire city will dance to the rhythms of salsa at the Croatian Summer Salsa Festival! Check it out!

Second Summer

The weather in Rovinj is almost incredibly beautiful these past few days and it will stay so for at least a week and maybe longer.
